Young Canadians in Finance Montréal is pleased to invite you to this breakfast conference featuring J.P. Towner, CFO and Executive Vice-President of Pomerleau Inc, one of Canada’s leading construction companies.

With over $2B in revenue and up to 4,000 employees across the country, Pomerleau oversees over 150 construction projects simultaneously coast-to-coast. Notable current projects include Montreal’s Réseau Express Métropolitain (REM), Centre Hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CHUM phase-2), and Aéroport de Montréal (ADM) city side development programme.

In his role, J.P. is responsible for Pomerleau’s Finance & Accounting, Corporate Strategy, Risk Management, Procurement & Logistics departments. Previously, J.P. was at BMO Capital Markets from 2007-2016, serving as Vice-President and Head of the Strategic and Financial Planning where he helped oversee a $200B balance sheet. He also spent some time in M&A for Bell Canada, where he started his career in 2006.

Mr. Towner sits on the board and/or Finance Committee of the Montreal Heart Institute Foundation, the Institute for Research in Immunology and Cancer (IRIC) of the Université de Montréal, the Quebec MBA Association, and Borea Construction. Furthermore, he is the recipient of the Ace of Finance Award in the “Emerging Financial Leader” category, as part of FEI’s annual gala (Quebec Chapter, 2018). Mr. Towner is a graduate of Harvard Business School and Université Laval.
