YCIF and FASKEN present "Women Lead" Series with Jackie Nixon Gowdy, Managing Director, Goldman Sachs.

Young Canadians in Finance, in partnership with FASKEN, are proud to invite you to our Breakfast Series featuring women in finance: "Women Lead". We will have the pleasure of welcoming Jackie Nixon Gowdy, Managing Director at Goldman Sachs.

Our goal is to spark open and candid discussions between pioneering women in finance and young leaders of tomorrow. "Women Lead" aims to promote the transfer of knowledge and experience from one generation to the next, as well as stimulate discussions on opportunities in finance while celebrating and featuring each speaker invited to these meetings.

We hope to see you there! *Note that this event is designed for all, not only those who identify as female.

Jackie is head of Canadian Equity Capital Markets (ECM) and a member of the Americas Technology, Media and Telecom ECM team within Goldman Sach's Investment Banking Division. She is responsible for originating, structuring and executing equity and equity-linked financings, as well as providing market-informed judgements to corporate and private equity clients. 

Jackie first joined Goldman Sachs as an Analyst in 2007 where she was a member of the Corporate Equity Derivatives team in London. In 2013 she moved to New York and joined the ECM Group, covering industrial companies. She rejoined the firm as a Managing Director in 2021.

Prior to re-joining the firm, Jackie worked at RBC Capital Markets for five years, where she was a Managing Director in ECM, focused on industrial and consumer companies. 

Jackie is a member of the Branksome Hall Foundation Board and the Toronto International Festival of Authors Board. She is also a Campaign Executive Member for the Royal Ontario Museum. 

Jackie earned a BComm from Dalhousie University in 2007.
