YCIF and FASKEN present "Women Lead" Series with Nagar Rahmani

Young Canadians in Finance, in partnership with FASKEN, are proud to invite you to our Breakfast Series featuring women in finance: "Women Lead". We will have the pleasure of welcoming Nagar Rahmani.

Our goal is to spark open and candid discussions between pioneering women in finance and young leaders of tomorrow. "Women Lead" aims to promote the transfer of knowledge and experience from one generation to the next, as well as stimulate discussions on opportunities in finance while celebrating and featuring each speaker invited to these meetings.

We hope to see you there! *Note that this event is designed for all, not only those who identify as female.

Nagar is a professional with 15 years of experience spanning technology, investment, and ecosystem development. Possessing a background in capital and corporate development, she has a proven track record in fundraising, capital deployment, and cultivating strategic partnerships. Nagar is deeply entrenched within the tech ecosystem, an advocate for entrepreneurs, with a particular emphasis on fostering opportunities for women in business.

In her most recent role as a Partner at Maverix Private Equity, Nagar played an integral role in the firm's inception, contributing significantly to its establishment and growth. Prior to this, she co-led the Kensington Venture Fund, where she invested in venture funds across North America and early-stage technology companies. Nagar has served on numerous boards throughout her career, she currently holds board positions at 7Gen and Mindframe Connect.
